A bit out of the way way but a beautiful place to stop for a look around and great place for a picnic.

Well worth the visit. Guide (Lyn) was superb. Good change from traditional tour of being spoken at to having a conversation.

Gorgeous house, friendly and knowledge Volunteers. Would recommend putting a couple of hours aside just to check out the beautiful gardens and out buildings.

However, I would advise to make lunch arrangements elsewhere unless your preference is tea with scones.

Clarendon House is great. The guide is very welcoming and knowledgeable. After our tour we enjoyed Devonshire tea and scones, which were delicious. Great place to explore and learn about the history of Tasmania

As lovely as are though, you won't have much else when it comes to food variety.
